I was going to post the WIP of the St. Stephen’s painting, but, the ugly stage on such a detailed piece is, well, too ugly. So I went into the archives for this week’s post image! This is another of my favourite Spring photographs. It is a semi-abstract shot of the ice going out.
I have had no time to breathe. My husband and I have made the decision to list our house and the preparations have been all consuming, so the blog has been a little neglected. I am hoping to find a new place to live with a real studio; a dedicated room and space for a large palette desk with drawers. OK, maybe fantasyland at this point, but, one can hope…
There is a deadline for the end of the month for the St. Stephen’s painting and so I expect that my next post will be the finished piece. Things should be a little more normal in May?

/ April 19, 2011Was this the inspiration for the painting I bought from you a while back?
Where are you thinking about moving to? Within Gravenhurst?

As for the move, right now, I have no idea where we might be going….

/ April 19, 2011good luck with the move
hopefully selling your house is not too stressful for you all
an actual studio would be so wonderful, would love a studio rather than a corner of the living room lol

/ April 22, 2011Thanks Jennifer Rose – I’ll need it! Hoping for a better space than the furnace room…

And i hope it doesn’t hurts
Michelle
/ April 28, 2011LOL! Thanks Patrick… Coming from an exceptional photographer such as yourself, I find that quite a compliment! I haven’t had much time for the camera recently. Looking forward to that changing.
