in Acrylic – MAC
A painting from the Heels House in Gravenhurst. The house is currently under renovation. This was the last room that, at the time, was still untouched. The house was owned by the original family until 2008.
From the book:
A single room, yet untouched by the cycle of renewal, still whispered of a moment of a woman’s retreat. A pink curtain filters the light. She sits in the clawfoot tub which recedes in the shadows, enjoying a warm bath on an early winter afternoon. I may have never met her, but, I will remember the room that she so clearly considered her own.
